Our Wedding Albums

For most couples, wedding albums are the major photographic document of the experience. Naturally, you will get prints, and when you purchase any of our packages, you also get a full set of digital files. However, scrolling through images on a computer or tablet screen doesn't compare to the story of your wedding day told in a collection of beautifully selected, custom designed album of photographs.

Aside from spending your wedding day with you and creating the beautiful images, designing your wedding album to tell the story of your day as we saw it is our favorite aspect of wedding photography.

Here is a collection of a few of the wedding albums we have designed for couples. We hope you enjoy looking through them!

Amy & Jason

Amy and Jason are a wonderful couple from the Sacramento area. I met Amy years ago when she was working as a barista at Starbucks. We got to know each other a bit (as much as you can when chatting while waiting for a coffee a few times a week) and I eventually did a portrait session of Amy and her sister for fun and practice.

Years later, Amy gave me a call to share that she was engaged. She had kept my business card put aside all that time because she knew that, when the time came, she wanted me to be her wedding photographer.

Amy and Jason were married in Lake Tahoe, CA and planned a wonderful, fun end of reception get away on a jet ski which was a beautiful end to the day and a definite clue to the guests that the party was over!

Melody & Joseph

Melody & Joseph are a Sacramento area couple we who came to us for their wedding photography after we had met Joseph while photographing his brothers wedding a number of years before. They are a very sweet, fun couple who were a joy to work with.

They took the more and more common step of seeing each other in a beautiful, initimate reveal prior to their ceremony. They had a small, sweet ceremony with family and friends and enjoyed a great reception, including Joseph (a musician) serenading Melody with a beautiful song.

Kelly & Marc

Kelly & Marc are a couple from the Grass Valley area. Their situation is fairly unique in our photography - we actually didn't meet them prior to their wedding day. This is highly unusual for us - our clients are the wedding couple and we generally insist on meeting them.

However, in this case I knew Kelly's father, Bob, and had photographed for him several times. So, when he called to ask on quite short notice if we could photograph her wedding, I was happy to oblige.

Kelly and Marc were a very sweet couple who met as competetive swimmers and who - very appropriately - had their wedding at Arden Hills Country Club, very well known for it's high caliber swimming instruction. Their one request for photos was a portrait by the pool!

Heather & Austen

Heather and Austen are a Southern California couple whose wedding I photographed in Berkeley, CA. Heather grew up in Lodi and I had been photographing her younger sister as a volleyball player for years, so when it came time for her wedding, she gave me a call (and I'm glad she did!).

Heather & Austen were married at a beautiful church in Berkeley and used a funky classic street car to shuttle the wedding party from the hotel to the church and back for the reception.

We were there for a nearly 12 hour coverage, and so many beautiful photographs resulted that we actually had to design two separate albums - one for the portraits and one to tell the story of the day!

Kim & Jason

Kim & Jason are a wonderful couple I met through my volleyball photography. I have been photographing Kim's daughter, Jessica, since she was 12 years old (she's now in college) and she and Jess are one of the volleyball families I always looked forward to seeing each year.

Jason is a volleyball coach (no, not Jessica's! :). I do not know if Kim and Jay met at a tournament, but they now attend them together! Kim and Jay were married in beautiful Lake Tahoe, California and I was thrilled to be their photographer.
